According to the market research firm M:Metrics, 19 million Americans have a “strong interest in purchasing the iPhone.”“This data confirms that the iPhone has sparked the imaginations of consumers and is not merely a topic of conversation among insiders and technology enthusiasts,” said Mark Donovan, senior vice president and senior analyst, M:Metrics.19 million Americans is a lot of people! And don’t worry: they assured us in their study that they did in fact tell people how much it would cost them and how AT&T is the only provider.
